My Thoughts On This Book (Book Review)

Here are my thoughts on this book. It’s pretty cool overall and it’s fit for anybody. It falls under the genres of historical fiction and realistic fiction because this really happened in real life and it’s possible that a person like this went through this. I would recommend this to anybody who likes reading about the holocaust or just loves history and second hand accounts based on what actually happened in history. It doesn’t make as many references to Hitler as it does to Nazis and it doesn’t refer to how people are treated in concentration camps although, this would be a good reference to the emotions of a real person living during these harsh times. One a scale from 1-10, I would rate this book 9.5 because it’s the bomb, but at times it can say stuff that really made me go to sleep. Overall, it’s a great book and since its short, it’s readable in a day or so. I hope you enjoyed my thoughts on this book!

Drawing Conclusions and Inferences

In the book “Number the Stars” by Lois Lowry, there is a lot of drawing conclusions and inferencing involved. Sometimes, the story teller give a slight clue of what will happen next, but then it’s up to you and your brain to figure out what will happen next. Some cases are when Annemarie sees everyone having clothes distributed, but doesn’t know what’s going to happen, I drew conclusions and thought that they were probably going on some sort of journey and they were. Again this happened because when Annemarie was running to give her uncle the basket of lunch, we all knew that a Nazi soldier was going to stop her or else why would her mother warn her about such a thing. So, as you can see, there are always details prior to an event taking place in the book. I actually really enjoyed this book and I hope whoever reads this will too!
